Pushing the Limits

I went to the Power and Love conference a couple of weeks ago. I heard Bob Hazlett speak against going past your comfort Zones. Like, for example, I have had great success with arthritis and pain but have not seen many deaf/blind/lame healed. So instead of focusing on healing all those in pain and with arthritis which is a strength for me, I should press into seeing healings for the deaf/blind and lame.

Todd Bentley calls it contending for miracles. Todd white prayed for thousands of people for 6 months before he saw any healed. John Wimber had a similar story. Heidi baker prayed for so many blind people before one finally saw.

So my challenge is to pray for all the sick in my midst. If I see a lame, blind or deaf person then I should pray for them.
If I see someone on crutches or walking with a limp then they are fair game.

So that's my challenge and I will be documenting it on a daily basis or as often as I get out.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Healing and deliverance

I was on a skype call that was for healing prayer. On the night before I prayed for a couple people. It was mainly group prayer so everyone would take a hit until the sickness left.

On tonight's call someone's leg grew out and a wheelchair bound woman got some more movement in her legs.

We were praying for the leaders eyes and she mentioned that everytime she was prayed for it would get worse and she knew it was a demon.

After that bull dog mode was activated.
I felt led to pray for her and spoke loudly and authoritatively for that demon to leave. It was resisting and manifesting on her face. I had to pray a few more times still authoritative but not as loudly. And the demons left, she was yawning and burping so something happened.

I give all glory to God. I didn't know I had it in me, But God knew.

Now I just wanna go everywhere and heal the sick, cast out demons and prophesy.

Lord let it be done.

Amen.

Driving miss daisy

So I'm doing my side job as a driver for my sister and her business.

I was carrying her partner to a meeting.
She didnt seem well and was breathing rapidly (hyperventilating). She was feeling sick and was contemplating rushing to the doctor.

While driving, I just took a minute and released God's peace. The effect was immediate. Her breathing slowed down to normal and she decided to do her work and postpone going to the doctor until after her meeting.

I didn't touch her, didn't say anything to her. She didn't even know that I was praying for her.

Thank you Lord for healing her.

Healing Journey August 10, 2012

Prayed for 1 deaf guy, a bagger in the supermarket. Prayed once. No effect. No change. No power felt. No anointing. No authority in the prayer. Nothing!

Do I need to recharge? Do I need to be re-educated? Do I need to watch the DHT again? Do I need to pray more? Do I need to study healing more? Do I need to be in the word more? Do I need to be bolder? Do I need to fast more? Do I need to pray more for the sick? Do I need to seek God before I pray? Do I need to teach before I pray? Do I need to be more aggressive?


Attempted to contact 2 more persons.

One was a blind lady. I gave her a donation and attempted to talk to her, but she wouldn't talk back to me and ignored me while she kept on reading.

The second attempt was with a girl in a wheelchair. I bought a paper for her and struck up a conversation. She told me that she was injured and had surgery on her leg and the only reason she was in the wheelchair was because she didn't have a walker. I decided against praying for her and taking it further.

After her I started a convo with a street vendor that went nowhere and I ended up buying a dvd from him to get him off my back. SMH.

This is all in contrast to Wed night when I prayed for a believer who was injured in a car accident and he said he felt better and got slight relief or some improvement. I guess I should have pressed in more and prayed again for total healing.

So struck out so far today: 2 no balls and one miss but I'm pressing on.

Power and Love Alumni

So I'm on my way to church and as I am walking down my street I see this woman by this gate. I probably think she is a household helper just waiting to get in. I pass her and as I go further down the road she calls to me. I stop and we talk a bit. She tells me a hard luck story about not having a job and four hungry kids.

Usually I wouldn't give this the time of day and would just walk off. But this time was different. I felt that she was talking the truth. Father began ministering to me.

I ended up giving her a prophetic word of encouragement and she was so blessed and appreciative. Life is so different when the King lives inside.

Activating the gifts of healing miracle and impartation service

Prophet Alexis started out teaching the truth of the word of God about healing and sharing prophecies about an end time saints movement and healing revival. He ministered to one lady with a foot brace.

Evangelist Patrick spoke on the role of deliverance in the healing ministry. He gave some words of personal prophecy and ministered one on one to others.

I spoke on words of knowledge and healing. I shared some word of knowledge that God gave me before. I prayed for some and had the congregation minister to the others. They laid hands on some, commanded healing on some, ministered healing and just prayed. Everyone was healed. I shared on the biblical basis of words of knowledge and the various ways we receive WOK: feeling, seeing etc. I activated them and had them ask God for words of knowledge. Stomach aches were healed, stuffy ears were opened, neck pain has healed and stuffy sinuses were healed.

I got words of knowledge during the teaching and people got healed.

The Holy Spirit then took control of the service and many prophetic words were given and there was a lot of personal prophetic ministry.

This continued for over an hour and various needs were ministered to including cancer, deliverance and emotional needs.

Prophet Alexis then closed the show by teaching on principles of healing.

Personal Healing Testimony : Flu

So I got the flu and it came with weakness, headache, chest congestion, coughing, running nose. It was the pits. I knew God healed but how was He going to heal me?

It turns out that the same time I got the flu that a friend of mine and her father got it too. They asked me to pray for them to get over it. So I prayed for them and coached her on receiving healing by faith and they got better.

So I decided that the same aggressiveness and commanding of symptoms to go that worked for them should work for me too.

So I spoke to my symptoms and rebuked them, I commanded them to go repeatedly in the name of jesus. I spoke to my body and commanded it to be well. I also spoke to each body part by itself.

I went into the word and found healing scriptures. I then spoke them over myslf. I read them. I confessed them . I meditated on them until they became a reality.

The result is I got over most of the symptoms in a day or two and was back on my feet in a jiffy.

Anytime I felt the symptoms coming back, I went back to the word and the symptoms left. Yay!

God is a healer.

Miracle challenge - Day 1

Went to supermarket
Went shopping
Was told that my packer was deaf
Then was told my bag handler was deaf too.

I read/bought a book on amazon about a guy who believes in healing and has seen many miracles. He went to his daughters school. There were a lot of deaf people there. He made signs to one of the deaf girl , in his own made up sign language, but she understood. He prayed for the girl and she was healed.

I took that as an example. I made my own signs to the deaf bag collector that I wanted to pray for him. He was open to it and so I prayed. I laid hands on his ears and prayed kinda silently and sheepishly. I tested his ears by snapping my fingers but no result.

Now granted he did not believe or expect much from it. So what?

I didn't pray boldly, loudly or aggressively.

I didn't pray repeatedly or hammer it in. I only got to pray once.

I was somewhat timid.

So that's part of what happened.
I'm not trying to find excuses or reasons why he wasn't healed. I'm just looking for room for improvement and how to do better next time.

So here's what I will do next.
Listen to more Curry.
Be more bold/aggressive.
Pray more than once.
Believe.
Be louder.

Pray for more people. Do this over and over until this area of weakness becomes a strength.

Resurrection Sunday!

So I am visiting this church today because they are having a Prophetic Conference.

there is a lady sitting in the row in front of me and I realize that she has been sitting alot.
I feel god gives me a few words of knowledge for her.
I hear knee pain, Back Pain, joint pain,pain in her elbows,  inner ear/balance issues.

She said that she only had back and knee pain and allowed me to pray for her as she was rushing to leave.

Never got to test it out, but I ptrayed for her and am continuing to pray for her and am hopeful for complete healing.

I didnt even get all the words right. I missed it a few times. But God used me anyways.
Praise His name.

You dont have to have it all together. But He is able.

The power of the testimony

I was on a bus on my way to an all night prayer meeting. A lady entered and she said that she was just talking about me. I dodnt know her, but she had seen a miracle God worked through me last year and was going to the same prayer meeting.

I realized that God was up to something. That he was reminding me of the great works he did through me before and wanted me to begin again (see wheelchair healing). He reminded me of the stirrings he was giving me to go into the country areas and proclaim the gospel and heal the sick there. He said the people there would be more open to ministry and not as resistant as they are in the city.

5 minutes later, that same lady got up and gave her seat to an older woman who was quite infirmed. She had obvious problems with her legs and in talking to her, she had a hoarse throat too. I prayed for her legs and her throat and she got her voice back and she looked like she was walking better when she got off the bus too.

Nothing too amazing but its a great start for what is to come. So I will kep on reaching out to the sick in my city and whoever crosses my path.

May 12, 2011 - day of blessings

Doing an absolute today
Decided to do an isaiah 58 fast yesterday and today, where I gave the food I would normally eat to a homeless guy. It was powerful. This stuff works. So does the love your neighbour thing and your enemies. It seems like just by obeying God these ways the fighting/opposition has ceased. All is well now and all is at rest and peace. Yay God! Also got breakthrus in other areas as well...........

Healing resumes

Prayed for a lady I knew who had pain in her neck. I just laid on hands and went deep in spirit. No words. Something happened for she closed her eyes during the administration. She said she felt that my hands were warm. The pain had decreased significantly but was not completely gone. There was a little bit left. When I checked on her later in the evening she said a little was left too.

So not complete healing but improvement. I asked her and she gave a 'faith' answer. Next time I will offer to pray again.

First wheelchair emptied

So I'm at a benny Hinn healing meeting and on my way to the bathroom and I see this young girl in a wheelchair. She's trembling under the power of GOd and God is all over her. So everybody is telling her to lift her faith and stuff but nobody is actually helping her. So got this picture in my mind of me helping her out of the wheelchair. Some might call that a vision. It was faint so I did not pay it much mind. But it persisted and I could not leave the area, so I decided to obey it as odd as it sounded.

So I went in front of her, extended my hands and she placed her in mine and we took a few stePs together. It was glorious, she was in that wheelchair for 8 years.

But few things to note.
1. She was still weak. Maybe should have prayed for strength in her legs.

2. She wanted to rest, but the crowd told her to continue and keep on trying and so she went on longer than she was physically able.

3. She was trembling with each step she took.

4. Afterwards she said she felt awful. Not sure if that was physically or mentally.

Healing Happenings

Today went to a local restaurant to eat.
I saw an old friend there. She told me she had problems with her feet. Holy Spirit gave me a word of knowledge. I just blurted out "your right knee". She confirmed and was surprised I knew exactly what was wrong. She asked me twice how I knew. I told her it was a word of knowledge and that God was going to heal her. She said it is an on and off pain but didn't say if it was affecting her now. I laid hands and prayed and she was visibly touched and had great peace. I have no doubt that she wasn't permanently healed as well.

She not only got healing but an encounter with a loving God! Yay God!

Healing on the Streets - Christmas edition

Was walking down the streets on ma way from Christmas Sunday Service.
I spotted a man with a limp who was walking someway ahead of me. I approached him and offered to pray for his leg. He said it was his right knee that was swollen and causing him some pain. I prayed like 3-4 times and while there was some improvement and he felt the power, according to him, he still left with some pain and still limping. Sad but true. But I did minister in love, I just didnt tap in deep enough to that secret place and stay there. I went very close but still didnt reach. The repeated prayers were more word than spirit so they were of little effect.

Yesterdays Glory

So yesterday was the followup healing service for the kingdom teaching from last week.
Worship was off the chain and lots of freedom and deliverance occurred.
The presence of the Lord was in the place and they went straight from worship into healing ministry.
I felt the Lord indicate to me that I wouldn't be used that night. So said, so done. It was more or less a one man show and no follow up testimonies etc. But its all good.
I followed up with the lady I prayed for last week and she said her daily pain went down but not completely. However she was under stress and her head was tearing off.
Partial healing. I can live with that.

So I decided to go to a christian meeting but walked away.
Was thinking of how I had to walk alone and how it wasn't doing anything for me.

So I as I was walking by, there was this lady seating by the sidewalk and she had asked me for some money. I walked past her and dug in my pocket for some change.
I gave it to her and as I was walking away I saw her grimace in pain as she tried to sit up. I asked her what was wrong and she pointed at a brace on her knee. I prayed twice for the pain in her leg and she said she felt some relief and that her leg felt 'lighter'. She then asked me to pray for a goiter on her neck. Which I did. She ended up giving praise to Jesus for her healing touch from God.

She asked me which church I went to , which I gave no real reply and then she said I'm a man of God. That's when she gave praise to God.

I see it as confirmation of my decision to obey God and walk away from the IC and dead religious meetings.

Healings continue even today

Went to a church today. They were having a teaching series on a subject related to and including healing. There were many scriptures shared concerning healing too. There was a lot of worship before during and at the end. There were words of knowledge given and prophetic prayer/ministry given to some.
I sensed a strong spirit of faith ans expectancy in the place and frankly anyone, in fact everyone could be healed. Sadly most never knew and were waiting for the stirring of the waters. Waiting to be called out by word of knowledge or a spontaneous manifestation/sensation of the Holy Spirit which would mean they were healed.

I was led to two individuals. One lady the Lord drew me to. He showed me that she had pains all over knees, hip back, side arms etc. I asked her if she had pains in her knees and if she was in pain now. She said that she had pains all over but it would only happen in the morning. I prayed for her rebuking every spirit of pain and infirmity and proclaiming her healing and then ended by thanking God. Will hear from her next week as to the results. but I trust and believe that they will be positive and that the affliction has departed.

The second person had a walker. But she told me she had two hip replacements and was seeking help through physiotherapy and did not seem. Open to receiving healing and she also was not in pain.

Next week they are encouraging us to bring the sick and looks like they will be having a full out healing service.

Its so fun to be back in the game again.

Healing in the Trenches

Was called upon pray for someone today.
Jumped from what God was doing and then they focused on what He wasn't doing and what they wanted. Healing Flow/reduction of pain ceased.
Then she started to focus on another area. The power of the Lord was present to heal that too.
But she couldn't sense it and ended up saying it will take a creative miracle to see that happen. Translation: it can't happen now, it will take a special act of God for that to happen.
So instead of complete restoration, she left partially broken.
My take away points
Coaching/teaching before prayer
Remove doubts answer questions objections
Realised the truth of do you want to be made whole and seeing that he had faith to be healed and according to your faith be it done for you

A new Day

So I get a skype call from Bethel Healing rooms today and they prayed for me for healing and my vision improved. Then they asked me to pray for two guys and their vision improved too. Come on! Isn't God good?

They Coached me in a new style of Healing too: Prophetic Acts.

Usually I just command healing with Authority.

But Today I asked the Father what to do, What did He want me to do? What did he want that person to do? And as we acted on Fathers instructions, We got healed. Isn't God grand?

It was small things too like clapping and dancing, but as we act in faith, God rewards our faith.

He is infinitely creative.

Amen.

I posted that testimony on FB and a brother contacted me.

God gave him the full hundred. Emotional healing, Physical healing from coughing, cold and a sore throat. He got a prophetic word about His purpose and destiny.

He left praising God. Because God lifted his spirit up. He feels stronger. No more sadness. The sore throat, coughing are gone and His sinuses are clear.

God is too good.
